During the holiday in southern France the USS Eisenhower was anchored in the bay of Cannes. I could arrange a short visit but have some gaps in my logs. Are you sure it isn't an old F-16A??

It is missing the small antenna on the triangular base of the fin, one of the only exterior differences to identify between A and C models.

It started life as an F-16A and was converted to F-16V sometime before 2021

I'm with Alf, but rather than a mispaint, could it be the USAF Serial has been partially removed/worn out and part of the original Taiwanese Serial (6662) is showing through.
