There was a time when we bought a ticket,turned up on the day,and were pleased with what we saw.In my view social media has got a lot to answer for.Pity we cant turn the clock back.Although i guess a lot of people will disagree with me.

I am 81 and live in rural Lancashire with electricity supply on overhead line.Power cuts are quite common. Also suffer from an intermittant mobile signal.Openreach recently converted us to FTTH fibre.As a result total lack of communication is not unknown.

The reaction of the "west" is as expected but i wonder how countrys operating a mix of Russian and western hardware like Egypt/Indonesia/India/Etc will react.
