Re: Which scanner and aerial?

I really recommend http://www.yaesu.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1151 and it's well worth spending the money to get the ADMS-5 communication device. It means you can add/delete frequencies en mass in seperate banks at the same time. http://www.radioworld.co.uk/ADMS-5_data_management_system_for...

Re: F-35 coming to RIAT / Farnborough

Just another RIAT rip off to attend pay in advance That is the silliest comment on this thread. An F-35 experiencing an engine fire is a conspiracy by RIAT to get more visitors? What would you rather see, an incident which is not investigated potentially cause an IFE, whilst half way across t...

Re: Worst aviation news article ever?

'one-in-a-lifetime image'

What an absolutely horrendous article.

People shouldn't worry about the bad PR it would appear to give Waddo and RAFAT, nobody in their right mind will take this article seriously. The reporter and the editor which allowed this to be published should be sacked.

Re: Waddington 2014 What did you think

From my Sunday experience: I agree 100% on the volume of the PA, rattled my head somewhat. The commentators just annoyed me towards the end of the day too. Static placing was rather bizarre, you had to walk some miles to catch the decent stuff at either end. The quality of the static was good though...
