I think this may explain the answer, being as Planefinder relies on peoples Mode S signals being and they triangulates the signals and roughly work out where the plane is, this is similar to how it works in Planeplotter as well I think.

Looking at the prop blur on the A400, it seems like the engines on each wing have opposite spin direction, is this correct?

350Biker, I have just checked http://www.live-military-mode-s.eu/ and it shows callsign being shown on SBS as BOE72 with a hex of A95A11 on the day it visited Donna Nook, checking the FAA site it states that the reg was cancelled/not taken up, exported to UK 17/6. I hope this helps.
