Re: MV22's Mildenhall 12-6-16

Nice shots!

As far as the dirt is concerned I think you might find they are on the mirror end of the lens rather than the sensor.

Re: RAF Typhoon fleet.

I understand what the tail codes are, but who applies them and who removes them?

I don't quite understand why they seem to change so much.

Nice shot Timmo. I like the way you made the landing lights a feature of the photo!

Re: RIAT 2005

Thanks for the nice comment! We did departure day for the first time last year - having had to head home on the Saturday because I was feeling too ill. I really enjoyed it - in some ways more than the average display day. The photos I got can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/croesyceilio...

RIAT 2005

Sorting images recently I found these images taken at RIAT 2005. I figured someone here might enjoy some of them: 1. https://c8.staticflickr.com/8/7662/27333746935_72d1a94b3d_b.jpg French Navy Super Etendard 47 by Chris Long , on Flickr 2. https://c3.staticflickr.com/8/7185/26726726114_014a2130a4_b....

Re: A sign of things to come (Naughty fields)

Well I've been going to RIAT for about 20 years with friends and paid to get in every time. Health wise I'm not as good as I used to be so last year we went to Rhymes Farm for the first time. It was a good thing too - about an hour after arriving I suddenly felt much more ill. Accordingly 5 of us ha...

Re: A sign of things to come (Naughty fields)

A good Facebook post from the Historic Aircraft Collection based at Duxford. I hope the freeloaders take note of this statement from the horses mouth: It saddens me, and the rest of the team, that there are still a number of people who think it is their right and perfectly acceptable to view an Air...

Re: Summer Deployments

Are we sure N464MC is bound for Fairford? He's holding a somewhat northerly track and holding FL350 which seems a little high given his location?

How close to the photographic spot are these spaces? My mum is in her 70s and would love to do some photography here.

Thanks in advance.
