Confirmed as company demonstrator AW189 I-RAIU which was in Newcastle on a sales-pitch and featured on the local BBC News !

Typical Swiss sortie times are 14:30 , 17:30 and 20:30 and of a 60 to 90 minute duration . Leeming tower is open 12:00 to 22:00 and the Swiss don't fly at weekends so weekdays such as yesterday sorry , ! , saw Hawks , Hornets and Hunters flying . Tomorrow Friday 25th is change-over day so the Helvet...

Apparently there was a note on the VTSS website which showed airside tours on the 27 November and 11 December but both sold out and a comment that other tours would take place in early 2023 .
If planning on going probably best to contact the Trust for confirmation of details and times ?

I'm not sure that this is true as it was flagged up on Facebook group that there are visiting opportunities for engine runs next year too . Perhaps others may know more ?

The 3 Italian choppers departed north at 11:00 . They don't show on virtual radar but have been spending some time up at Spadeadam .
