“ Nad said his government still had to approve the deal under which it would pay $340 million over three to four years for a package worth more than $1 billion.”

So there is no deal yet.

Although it looks like the Israeli Vipers won't be there the participant list has been significantly enhanced with the addition of Saudi Eagles and someone else but I can't remember what? It was quite nice though.
UAE F-16’s?

Re: Italian Airforce 100th anniversary 2023

Typhoon, F-35, MB339 are mock ups, Tornado seems to be real (wfu turned into travel exhibit), the HH139 is the real deal.

Re: Australian Taipan

It's going to be yet another nail in the coffin for the Taipan service record if a mechanical issue is found to have been the issue as the ADF cannot wait to get rid of both Airbus helicopter types out of service soon enough to be replaced by the 25 x Apache E and 40 x Blackhawk before 2025. But on...

Brussels South (Charleroi) is a bit further but has a lot of cheap international connections. And if you stay for a day extra (Friday or Monday), F-16 base Florennes is close to Charleroi.

Could you tell me the appr time of your visit?
Planning to go there early monday next week.
Assume that you can look inside the hangar (if open) from the parking spots at the gate?
That’s indeed the spot where we were. We arrived around 7 o’clock, they just started towing out the aircraft.

Re: Log CWL & BKH Weds 8th March 2023

On Monday (see topic) I logged 10 Prefects, 9 towed outside, one left in the hangar. Don’t know if they change regularly? Otherwise you might have seen the same ten.

Ah well, even if the USAF AMC wouldn’t be carrying serials anymore, there are plenty of aircraft that still do.

So, as the famous Lance Corporal Jones “once” said:

The idea sounds a bit too grim for aircraft enthusiasts. The next thread will be bodybag counting
For that I advice you to have a look at Twitter… literally filled with it (and how they become “cargo 200/300”…)

Need to remember that the Friday coincides with Bastille Day, 14th July.
The Rafale demo team (solo & spare) don’t have to be at the Bastille day. Usually just the operational squadrons & Patrouille de France perform the fly over. So arrival could be earlier than Friday
