On local tv tonight they said that there were 5 helicopters from Yeovilton onboard, there was a Merlin HC3A filmed on the hangar deck, it had a Union flag on the side which ZJ992/AB had when it left on the Ocean for the Med.

From the published pictures there are 2 X Wildcats of 847NAS, 2 X Merlin HM2, 2 X Merlin HC3(one reported as ZJ126/K), 2 X Chinook(one reported as ZA682), on radio this morning the Captain of HMS Ocean said he had 9 helicopters onboard When Ocean left for the Med originally it had Merlin HC3A ZJ992/...

Believe '122 has been, was seen on the deck of the Queen Elizabeth at some point last week. ZJ127/L was on the flight deck of the QE when it arrived at Portsmouth, it had flown direct from Yeovil to the ship and I believe returned there afterwards as I did not see it return with the HM2's and ZJ126...

I stopped going to YV show just for these sort of reasons . I started going on the Friday but the rules for entry were changed so that we were treated like the great unwanted by the RN/FAA . I tried staying outside of the base but that has been made difficult by the small minded jobs worth of RN/FA...

There was a practice today, the formation left the airfield at about 1405 and consisted of XZ689/314, XZ691/310, ZF562/353/MB and ZF563/312/VL
