Aye that CC-150 is a looker. Would be nice if '336 was painted in a retro VC-10 style scheme rather than the 'paint swatch' it currently wears.

Re: British F-35Bs To Bring Vertical Landing Abilities To Highways

And having interviewed an Air Marshall of the RAF you can do better? Can you?? Unless something has drastically changed I wasn't aware that reading an article prevents you from crisitising it?!? And as you hve absolutely no idea of my background, knowledge or proffesion it's all really a lot of hot...

Re: ZK372

I go by the callsign as being transmitted by the aircraft ZK372 was calling ‘Tyrant 41’ on arrival at Lossiemouth and arrived ahead of ‘42’ and ‘43’. If you’re going by ‘as being transmitted by the aircraft’ then yes, that was how it was showing on tracking sites however that suggests an incorrect ...

Re: ZK372

It arrived to Lossie on 22/6 as Tyrant 41. Was waiting to see which Sqn it's been assigned to, before updating the based list in the Lossie section. Odd that it's awaiting assignment to a Lossiemouth squadron given that it arrived along with two other 12 Sqn aircraft (ZK366 'Tyrant 42' & ZK366 'Tyr...

Nice to see the majority of the typhoons in squadron markings.
Thanks Luke however I wish that was indeed the case. Unfortunately aside from those operated by IX(B) Sqn the majority are unmarked, I've chosen to show those that were carrying markings.

Lossiemouth - 22 June 2023

Spent most of yesterday in the sunshine at a refreshingly busy Lossiemouth. Based Typhoons were very active whilst only two of the P-8s were to be seen moving, ZP804 out as Stingray01 and ZP807 returning from Norway in the early afternoon as RAFAIR7040. C-17 ZZ174 departed to St Johns, NFD in the ea...

Re: RAF C-130 (ZH870) Retirement Tail

Are there any plans for a farewell tour ? Yes, Commander Air Wing Brize Norton on the Threshold shoot mentioned it - they are aiming for a 6 and half hour tour of the UK covering the important and sentimental locations of the Herc with three of them carrying out the tour - it was mentioned at the t...

Emerged from the hangar on Friday about 14.30.
Doors shut behind and towed away to ramp.
Sounds like its been in and out of the hangar since arriving as it was seen outside late on Thursday evening, looked to be locked up and was still outside at 11pm.

Re: Exercise TAC Blaze - RAF Spadeadam

Hi all, we were overjoyed to welcome back the Netherlands Air Force to our region after a few years away. I have around 2000 images to process from week 1, so just a few for now showing some of the action so far. Including some Apache shots I've been after for many years! There will be many more to...
