Guessing tomorrow am for any movements on b-1’s

Anyone know if any mig-21 in service still with Croatia or any other air arm? Su-22’s will do if not

They will be gone by RIAT, never known a bomber to stay for the show & gives the opportunity for the other air crew to get to the UK.

At this point I’d say they’d do a mission 1st then arrive, in which case purely depends on exercise start date for their involvement. You could be in for a long wait if you were to go tomorrow, I’ll be waiting to see the pattern for flying.

Technically speaking they can arrive upto next Friday & still be in time for their exercise

Is asking for a pair of Turkish phantoms aswell too much? I would definitely have to say that’d be best RIAT in years. Indian air force SU-30MKI’s looked good at the Greek exercise

Going through the list of confirmed aircraft, I always plan what am I going to take photos off & it still is lacking that RIAT feel at the moment. Not the wow factor!
All these exercises might be the way forward I think, they certainly have some rare aircraft.

Thank you for that, I’d be amazed if it actually turned up. I didn’t know rules had changed & was pretty sure the CAA were adamant that complex aircraft like this could not operate over land.

Ground crew probably already in if they’re due within next 2 weeks

Big update might be a bit far fetched but considering they have so many assets deployed in European theatre during RIAT i’m sure we might have more than last years line up.

Personally want to see a line of f-35’s from different nations will be a 1st & a phantom of any country is what we all want!

2 f-15’s & 2 f-35’s & 2 f-16’s plus maybe some assets in Europe at the time will be good enough for me, I wouldn’t write off the usaf as it is there base.

At a guess there will be a big update for US participation soon

Whenever I’ve done CAA courses the restrictions are very strict especially flying over rural areas in bad weather. I will be absolutely amazed if the draken appears at midlands air festival.

Phantoms from Turkey or Greece & a decent US participation & maybe some Indian fighters then it’ll be back to pre covid RIAT. Might even get a FRIAT pass again next year
