Chalke Valley History Festival - 1/7/2018

This years CVHF took place over the course of last week - I'd seen photos from the previous years at the old site and thought I would give it a go and enjoy a nice walk in the sun with some warbirds in the skies too. Advertised on their website was quite an appealing selection, but no times or days ...

Re: Aviation Rip Off's

I didn't go to Marham - I was initially tempted but couldn't have made it anyway. From what I've seen online, photo opportunities were pretty limited, 'security' measures were put in force surrounding the F-35 and loads of busy cluttered backgrounds? By the looks of things I can see why people would...

Re: RAF Cosford Airshow 2018 (Pic Heavy)

Thank you!

F3, I originally didn't plan to do the statics at all! I found a spot near the front and dumped my stuff, after going around himself my dad came and joined me and told me how good it was - at which point I made a mad dash through it all before the flying started!

A Random Encounter With The Coastguard - 17/6/18

Since Coastguard aircraft are allowed here - My family and I went out for a walk in the Purbecks today, despite the awful weather. Just after leaving the car and beginning the walk, the Coastguard AW189 passed by and came into a hover below the cliffs where we were walking! I had left my camera at h...

RAF Cosford Airshow 2018 (Pic Heavy)

I do hope you're all still up for some more photos from Cosford and aren't completely bored of it by now! Shame the lighting was a bit hazy and into the sun in the morning, stood on the right side of crowd centre, the sun eventually moved around and lit some of the display items rather nicely as the...

Re: RAF Cosford Airshow 2018, Sunday 10th June

Had a really great day yesterday! Never done a Cosford show before but this one was well worth the trek. Pros: Great Static Display - very well thought out Varied flying displays - some real rare treats enjoyed seeing a lot more RAF flying than usual, even if only flypasts Jags - Really liked how ma...
