Re: Rugby World Cup 2023 - RWC
As far as I am concerned the final with two southern hemisphere teams is boring :P I will watch it but I won't care who wins Super Saturday has turned into sh#t Saturday :D What a fine example of Mod! An unfortunate loss and not inspiring rugby from either side. The final should be more entertaining.

Re: Canon R7 "Black out"
πΊπ¦ π» πΊπ¦ Before you spend money unnecessarily, I wonder. Getting back to basics, why are you using burst? Why not wait until the aircraft is fitting the frame that you want then fully depress the button? Check out the technique that you used for the 195 images mentioned but using the RC135 blackout t...

Re: Rugby World Cup 2023 - RWC
 Following a brief explanation from my wife and subsequent 3 minute YouTube demonstration I gladly admit that your suggestion is far, far superior to mine. Love it! As it was used in the 70s by Club Med., perhaps the Red Arrows could adopt it for their Spring break anthem? Back to the q/finals...

Re: Rugby World Cup 2023 - RWC
Certainly NOT a convincing win by any means. the match could easily have gone to Fiji. As to the population size, the current number of rugby players in England is most likely greater than the Fijian male population between the ages of 18-35. Mind you, I have little confidence in the England team se...

An interesting comment, tyres and their construction is surely an integral part of car design.

Re: Monthly photo competition
πΊπ¦ π» π» Does the image have to be taken in the month of the competition? Iβve always assumed so and not posted because of that. Like me there must be people with thousands of images out there that could be entered to make up the numbers. Have you considered awarding a Wooden spoon? FuzzyFastjetFotos,...

Re: UK government projects that have been successfully completed
πΊπ¦ π» πΊπ¦ How it happened yesterday. Just before lunch I read the thread about the wedgetail and decided to comment on a post. On reflection it seemed that it was too far from the thread and should have been better placed in general chat. I began a new thread, this one under a vaguely relevant title. ...

Re: Top Guns Inside The RAF
πΊπ¦ π» πΊπ¦ Compared with Warship it highlights the great differences between the two services. Both are just tv programmes for what they are worth. Designed to dull the mind of the general populace and slightly more interesting than come dancing. Or at least the bits that I have encountered flashing th...

I plan to watch the recording this evening. When the kneeling episode is running Iβll unmute and pass on the reason if someone hasnβt already done so
I must have dozed through the incident! Sorry, nothing to report.

Re: Top Guns Inside The RAF
πΊπ¦ π» πΊπ¦ Early in the series it commented that the QRA sorties were mixed aircraft, much banter between uk and German aircrew/aircraft. In the last episode, showing Moz with visor down and the stb wing upper surface with a German cross; a later shot was of the port wing and a much clearer cross. In t...

Re: Rugby World Cup 2023 - RWC
πΊπ¦ π» πΊπ¦ During a pre match fill-in guru discussion about speeding up the game someone offered ββ¦ most matches the ball was only in play for 35 % of the 40/80 minutes.β It reminded me of similar family chats about television programmes and the length of time devoted to advertising. Watching the Georg...
