Just to add my 5p with regard to storing/keeping files, I would suggest several - create your own website, Flickr and at the same time discs.

That plus other reasons is why I wont update to Win 10, im quite happy with win 7 pro and auto updates turned off, dont need microsoft bugs in my sytstem.
