Re: A400M may see some features axed
Definitely some politics at play, although I think the A400 will come good especially as there are no new C-17s available.
The Embraer KC-390 looks like a nice machine. Additional tanker capability too if we could get around the silly agreement we signed up for with the '330s.

Maybe more activity then?
Did anything replace the Dominies, or will everything be done by the x5 new jets?

Re: And the last C-17 goes to.....
Aid wouldn't be bad if it actually reached the causes it's intended. India has one of the most impoverished populations, however it's government like to spend their resources on other projects. As for future C-17s, we'll have to hope Donald sells/leases us some at a "tremendous" price from the Bone-...

Being a cynical beggar, I saw this coming.
Cave into public pressure to host a show, cripple potential with high ticket prices, then perfect excuse to can it when it failed.

So much for the news that France/German were partnering on a new fighter.
Bet they end up with 2nd hand Super Hornets when they see the cost of "Dave".

The real question is why Mr. Fallon did not have his sanity assessed as the remarks were allegedly made towards Andrea Leadsom.

Re: Anyone using u4/3 for airshows?
Bump. Having a quick gander through the board as I got an Olympus E-M10.
Impressed with it out in the field. Tried it for Blackpool show this year and got some decent results, although could have done with more reach (150-600mm equiv).
Overall, a nice lightweight system.
