Re: DLA( Disabled Living Allowance )

Never expect any fairness from a Tory gov.

Welfare bill is a drop in the ocean compared to tax evasion.

Re: Cleared to land!

That figure will take engines into account too. I think we make the rear end?
Shame we don't have a final assemble line here, but I suspect cost may be an issue.

Its still an ugly beggar that seems to fly with unicorn dust. :Wow:

Re: Cleared to land!

That flaming door. Just looks like a giant air brake. I was told by a RN pilot working on the project that when the door is open and the British designed fan (Built by R-R) no air hits the door ....even in forward flight. :Wow: I understand the door design was changed to create more vertical thrust...

Are these going to be military serials or a mix of Civvy/mil like the King Airs initially.

Sadly, it will never happen. More chance of 558 flying again.

Waiting to see what happens with the ex-Thunder City jets. Maybe more fast runners at Brunty? :pop:

Re: BAE redundancies at Warton / Samelsbury ?

On the subject of future projects, it appears that the Germans and French are going ahead without us to manufacture the successor to Rafale. According to the Reuter's article below it's unlikely the UK would be involved in this. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-france-germany-defence/france-and-g...

Re: Windows 10 Update

With regards 10, I have a bizarre issue where if I select Windows - Shut down, the PC will restart.

It sometimes does this twice then shuts down on the 3rd attempt! Anyone else have this? Have disabled all the quick boot etc in power options but no luck. :grr:

Fantastic machines. Was lucky enough to see them at Waddo in 94, 97 and 2003.

Thank for sharing. :thumb:

Re: First P-8A for RAF

It's been interesting finding out about these things. Made sense during wartime to deceive enemies. :ninja:

One more question, what about serials "not taken up" but then skipped and more allocated afterwards (the T2 Hawks for example). :)
