Re: Canon 400D vs 1100D

For me, I would go with a used canon 40D or 50D, far faster FPS

WEX have an excellent condition 50D for sale at the moment £319

Re: Italian stallions from 1993

Hi What a great post this has been from Paddyboy and Claudio  . My Dad seems to remember the Frecce Tricolori at the Paris airshow with ex RAF Sabre`s with large letter tail codes, unfortunately he cannot remember the year but believes it was 1963. Thanks so much for posting the F86 shots such...

Re: Italian stallions from 1993

Paddyboy Love the manoeuvre being performed in shot 10 and what a great sight that take-off was with all that coloured smoke, green, white and orange (should be red). I will have to dig out some old shots of the Frecce Tricolori using the Fiat G91 PAN Anybody remember them with the Canadair F86E ? T...

Philip

That is a great post, captured a moment now consigned to history.
Seems the crew were more than happy to stay around and sign memorabilia.

There can never be enough pictures of the "Lady"

Thanks for posting

Coltishall 19.08.04 Su22 and Jaguar

Hi I was not going to post these as I thought they were a bit the samey. Hopefully it will bring back great memories for those who attended. Coltishall was my all time favourite base. All pictures were shot on 35mm film using a Canon 35mm SLR some on the photocall and some at the end of the runway M...

Jack,

Like all the shots, but number three is a belter IMHO.
The black and white image, plus the mist, gives it a real sense of atmosphere.

Tree Carving

Hi Came across this fantastic tree carving whilst walking in the grounds of Cragside in Northumbria. Great skill and amazing colours within the red wood. I have noticed a few wood carvings where I live and just wondered if other towns have anything similar? just a couple of shots, but to give a sens...

What I'm trying to achieve is photographic posts that reflect accurately the final image on my home computer. I'm failing miserably at the present. Not certain if hosting sites degrade the im...
