A rare visit for me today just saw a unreadable Navy Merlin on the ramp at 11:00. Sadly work have deemed my day return trips to Plymouth, involving more spotting than working, uneconomic and have contracted out the work, was nice while it lasted!

ZH843 merlin parked southside
another was being hangared with another two Merlins visable inside. So murky i just read the C-130 parked up. As ZH886? Otherwise just a Hawk and Gazelle on the ramp.

as normal the army examples (6) were unreadable, anybody know somewhere on the south side to look across towards these?

Also seen was Lynx HMA8 coded 670 and Seaking HC4 coded Y, neither required by me

Pretty much as expected nothing was seen, All the car parks locked up and only the main gate manned, oh well hears to 2015

I doubt if there will be much about but will look into Yeovil tomorrow (31st) assume Yeovilton will be on Christmas leave?

BD700 14+02 is due Farnborough 17:30, this and yesterdays C-160 are due to a British Army v German Army football match at Aldershot tonight. Assume the Global is bringing VIP's and the C-160 will return Thursday am to pick up the team?
