Does look a bit like a fixed wing though? And that tail is quite raked for a GR4..

Re: MRTT018 First flight after Cobham conversion (pic heavy)

Nice shots bizfreeq.

The only day ive not been around hurn with work for a while and i miss this! Would have made my lunch stop on our land (forestry) at the end of the runway a good one!

Do you know its movements at hurn over the next week or so or is that it and its on its way?

Cheers, Stroudy..

Seen departing approx 10:06 today. Came out from terminal side straight onto runway then taxied down the main runway, turned and departed. Do people know if this is a usual visitor here? I am sometimes on the neighbouring forestry land with work but have not seen this one since ive been in the area....

Was a good day out, near on a 400 mile round trip for some good jet noise! Maybe a 135 or two next time.

My feet are now dry.

Voyager at Hurn (bournemouth)?

Was at the east end of hurn runway this afternoon and saw, through the mist and rain, what looked like a yellow pre-del scheme voyager shutting down behind one of the smaller cobham hangars. Guess its there for AAR installation work?

Re: Another new Chinese fighter

FalconEagle? They should have just called it the F-16F-15.. or the LionTiger! Bizarre. I mean its not like the similar copies the Russins did on the US, e.g the SU-27 and the F-15 and the Blackjack and the B-1B, this one is just comedy blatant. Those exhaust nozzles, and actually most of the airfram...
