Re: Spitfire returning after world tour, what time??

Hi

Would be unlikely to be joined by the Reds the old pilots left the team last week and the New guys are hard at work training, so far have only seen them up to a five ship. Never say never with aircraft but would be very surprised.

Re: Will The Robots Take Over ?

There is some very interesting stuff out there about reaching the point of no return with AI (artificial intelligence) and even if we have already past it, Elon Musk has some interesting views and in site on this, worth a Google. That is of course, unless we are all part of the Matrix already we jus...

Vulcan 74

Now this blows my mind, off the back of your two discussions I got thinking about horse riding and mobile phone use. After some research, unbelievably the law allows horse riders on the road to use a mobile whilst riding!! This is the new thing I learned today and is amazing!!

Re: Horse Riders On Public Roads?

When I have something important to discuss I will start a thread, until then just willing to enjoy the plane stuff and supply my opinion or knowledge when requested, no misunderstanding here just saying the laws and highway code are available on the same device you posted your threads on. As to your...

Re: Horse Riders On Public Roads?

Whose the sensitive one, if you feel like being on your phone while driving you don't need our permission and you can drive how you want, the beautiful thing about discussions is we can have different opinions if you see an alternative opinion as sensitive that truly is a you issue and not me. Just ...

Re: Horse Riders On Public Roads?

lol another contentious point for you to get people fired up, the law is there and is simple. Should they be banned from the roads, no, people should learn to drive correctly and courteously. Obviously banning pedestrians, cyclists, horses, wild animals, all the other drivers, weather and bends, wou...

Re: Mobile Phones?

Get in the car, switch your phone off, then its not a problem. Avoids temptation to glance at the phone, its less about whether its an "offence" but more about "not seeing that pedestrian starting to cross" or "that kid following his mates across the road". Why do people feel the need to use a phone...

Used to love winter training in the 1980s/early 90s with stray Hawks in their practice displays. Always a chance to bag something usually from Valley plus in there old red/white/blue scheme they were easy to read off.

Good Morning Crecy publishing Military Aircraft Markings by Howard J Curtis for £12 is worth a purchase is in its 40th Edition and is published in the Spring each year. Living in Lincoln, I haven't stayed there but the Premier Inn at Canwick is close to being in line with Runway 20 (the more usual runway) although maybe one or two miles from threshold, I cant think of any accommodation any closer. Also its just across the road from the International Bomber Command ...

Very excited about this project, they are proper enthusiasts at BPAG, its been a rocky road so far but hopefully its looking like there is going to be something to get there teeth into and enjoy the results. A couple of weeks ago I was doing some clearing out of the loft and came across some Aviation News mags. Re: Ex Cobra Warrior parking restrictions

What concerns me more than anything, is that once the WAVE is rammed full and the hatches are battened down (it won't take long to fill, and it WILL happen). Where does everyone else go, are they just expected to sling their hooks? You're going to have a lot of p*ss*d off people, who've travelled f...
