Re: Plane Spotting Live

Airbus models number 8 to be seen: 318/319/320/321/330/340/350/380. OK so the smaller ones are similar (-ish) but the 340 and 380 are large 4-jets - modern-day 707/DC-8 and 747 equivalents. Still 747s to be seen too for a bit longer. Add colours and operators into the mix and it's still a good trip.

Re: Plane Spotting Live

Why would it be - spotting is not just about military aviation. There are certainly far more opportunities to spot civil than there are military too. I would expect there to be a reasonable balance across the hobby.

Re: Marham Friends and Family day 2019

Do what I did - either Google search or put Marham families in the search box on this forum.

I could leave you to do that but I'll tell you it is 25th July or this coming Thursday.

As above, they are not squadron markings at all but for the Lightning Force.

Curious as to who you think is responsible for the cancellations and therefore liable to compensate you?

Great set there Mike, despite the grey sky. Even got some Parish architecture in too just to prove it! Love the close-up shots.

Re: RIAT Arrivals 2019 - Live Thread

The subject of watermarks has been debated several times on this forum. People get grumpy because others' photographs are not to their own liking. Unsurprisingly there have been just a couple of complainers on this thread with approx 5,500 views. The general opinion in the past has been largely "don...

It doesn't matter who takes on the site, the electrical infrastructure will need replacing probably from the point of connection to the distribution network.

Met Office is, on average, more accurate than most. Seems better than the gloomier ones quoted on the forum.
