Re: USMC F-35B down in the US

Looking at the damage on the Herc. it looks like the F35 came down on top of the Starboard wing taking out both props and the cover of the outboard engine. The question is, who was flying the F35 the computer or the pilot. I am led to believe the F35 is fully automated and the pilot is the office ma...

Re: COVID-19 UK

As far as the young are concerned it is alright. I asked a youngster of senior school age, why he wasn't wearing a mask? I quote "it only affects the elderly and most of those are a burden on the rest of us" with their pensions and free travel, which we have to pay for. So what does it matter if we ...

Report from Los Angeles Times about largest study of COVID-19 transmission in India. Highlights the essential role of super-spreaders. I wonder why this report has not featured in UK papers? Are they to busy spouting their own political views rather than passing on information? https://www.latimes.c...

Re: MILDENHALL Wx DIVERTS

KC-135s limits for crosswinds seem rather low compared to other types. The new CFM56 dustbins are very near the ground compared to the old J57 engines, which may have something to do with it? I'm sure they never had a problem with the old engines! old engines https://www.gettyimages.co.uk/detail/ne...

Re: COVID-19 UK

200 deaths is not trivial if it was based on anything other than crystal ball gazing. The 50,000 infections is a guess based on the infection rate doubling every day, which it isn't in fact. if it was we would should have seen 16,000 infections yesterday, instead it's leveled off at about 4000. In L...

Re: COVID-19 UK

Here's a radical thought; Could the super spreader and anybody else who ignores self isolation instructions, if they infect somebody, could they not be charged with causing grievous bodily harm? Or if somebody dies as a result of their actions, should they be charged with at least manslaughter, if n...
