Great set- wish I could have got up there for that variety of types. Large scale deployments to England seem to be a thing of the past!

Had fuji bridge cameras for years before current set up- they are much better than people would think- you can get great results. Nice work here!

Viewing Area

Hello. If I can manage to escape work next week I shall be visiting Leeming to catch the F-16s and hopefully others. Remember reading something on FC a while ago about the viewing area being closed. Is this still the case, and will it be open next week? Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere and t...

Re: European Tanker Symposium 2012 (Friday 11th May)

Any updates on this? Heard that a French KC-135 was around earlier in the week? Was thinking of visiting on Friday, but it's quite a diversion for me so any advice gratefully recieved. I also appreciate there are no guarantees in this game! Cheers.

They do very specifically refer to it as being painted, but guess you can't believe all you read. Looks like paint to me, we'll see if it peels at the corners!

End of European Hogs soon- really sad. Absurdly optomistically I was hoping one day they'd be back in the UK from Germany permanently. That's life! All the best 81st (FS and ex TFW)

Re: Message from John at Johns Field re: Photographing peopl

Agree entirely with Mr Stihl. Why do people want to put pictures of other enthusiasts on here anyway? I've even seen pictures of others urinating on this forum for no reason whatsoever. This is an aviation forum, not a dodgy facebook group. Just my opinion.

Re: Something 'dog fighting' around . .

I work in Nottingham and I swear I could hear this at lunch time- F-15s are loud! Glad I now know what it was, great to hear the roar- a rare event in Notts these days. Plenty of mil helicopters recently though to the west of Nottingham, heading on N/S paths.
