what scanner are you using and are you sure you have Not bypassed that channel?
Uniden UBC-125XLT, Lakenheath Approach is back but nothing else, have to wait and see if anything else comes back when the base gets a few more jets in the air.

No idea if I've bypassed any or not.

Is your scanner set for AM'? Have you got the squelch set too high?
Is set to AM, squelch, no idea on that one.
no sound from it at all??
Not a thing, it's really odd, all the other channels in the other banks I have set up are all working fine.

Nice catches, I've never noticed some are carrying centreline tanks on top of the extra ones too.

Anyone having issues with picking up comms this week? Even living an hour or so away I'd normally pick up most of the comms rather well but nothing this week, I'm using the UBC-125XLT

Re: USMC F-35B down in the US

The drive has the comms audio from ATC, Raider says they had a mid air collision, could that have caused all the damage around the right wing and engines 3 & 4?

Never noticed the drum unit missing on the left wing, you can see I guess fuel pouring out, maybe the left wing dipped into the ground upon the belly landing.

OK understood, just thought this year with the dreaded CV19, they might keep it in the the current team.
You would think as they haven't really had a display season they'd let Red 1 fly as boss for 2021, it would certainly be the easiest option.

I reckon Bondy
It's not usually a current Red, they normally do their tour and then can be asked back to be Red 1.

Re: F35 Question

It can do but it would have to be carrying minimal fuel and there really isn't much call for it, it may be practiced once in a blue moon in the sim but not with the real thing.
