Re: Rumours of Tom Cruise appearing at RIAT
It doesn’t like heat? Wuhan is hardly Antarctica... If we follow a similar process that a number of other countries are in cancelling / temporarily banning events or gatherings of more than 1,000 people then it is inevitable RIAT will be cancelled. Don’t get me wrong I’m still getting tickets and pl...

Re: Rumours of Tom Cruise appearing at RIAT
Think you are being abit cruel saying that a possible appearance by Tom Cruise at this years RIAT is "doom & gloom" !! All those hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world congregating on a few square miles of gloucestshire for a week. Tightly packed in like sardines in a tin!! Wake up...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2020 Discussion Thread
To be fair, the Wildcat display at Southport was a decent display. They used pyrotechnics in their display but not to the extent of the Apache display.

Re: 48th Fighter Wing - Last Noted
I was down at Lakenheath last week. I’ll check my photos and see if I can update any dates.
Great log though, I didn’t realise there were that many jets at Lakenheath.

Re: Memorial Flypast
The last was in appreciation of Tony Foulds who has looked after the memorial ever since it was erected in Endcliffe Park. He was playing in the park when Mi Amigo brought it. Well done Tony. Roger Indeed. I noticed that 48FW posted a photo earlier of Tony in one of the Lakenheath hangars. It’s one...

Re: Memorial Flypast
Last year there was a memorial flypast at Sheffield for the crew of Mi Amigo. It comprised of MC-130, KC-135, Osprey, F15E, Typhoons and the Dakota if I remember correctly. Appreciate this is just Mildenhall conducting the flypast this year but there may be MC-130 and Osprey involved alongside a KC-...

Great shots. The Haveglass scheme on the 180FW F-16 has to be one of my favourites.

Re: Newark Air Museum News 2020
Great visit down the the museum today despite the wet weather. First time visiting the collection but I will be back without a doubt. One a side note, I was very impressed with the gift shop and the model kits. A great range of kits rather than the typical same 5 airfix starter sets you usually see....

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2020 Discussion Thread
let's just hope for blue skies this year for the whole week. Someone just had to say it! Although I have to admit, I am looking forward to this years show. The updates so far have been superb. Here’s hoping that the Czech Hind will also make an appearance after it displays at Yeovilton the week pri...

I’ve been told that hawks and Texans looped yesterday. However the 48fw seem to be preferring LFA17 (Lake District) at the moment.

Re: Super Bowl FlyPast?
Yes, US Navy / Marines I think. EA-18G Growler, FA-18E super hornet, F-35B Lightning II and F-35C Lightning II all in a diamond formation. Not sure on serials I’m afraid.
