As i understand it, its an Astrocoat finish, usually done at factory level.

Similar to the Astrocoat finish spray-applied to the wingtips.

Can anyone confirm the status of ZK113? Does it still fly?

Any word on when it will be heading back to Saudi? Its the last Saudi test Tornado at Warton?

No, thats just the neoprene cover thats put on the fin cap leading edge. Often deteriorates over time.

And since when do the Offutt aircraft have red tail bands?! Anyone seen this before?

Previously it was green for the 38RS & 343RS V/W's, and black for the other 135's.

Maybe the 343RS, who's squadron badge is mostly red, have their own now?
