Re: Mon 11th Feb

Not surprised about only flying over Leuchars. Lossie and Tain, just wonder which route they'll take North and Southbound?

Re: Mon 11th Feb; Marham 80

Sorry to ask but did someone get Edinburgh and Leuchars mixed up? Did Marham 80 even approach Edinburgh or did the go there before going to Leuchars?

Re: 9 Sqn Typhoons

Just out of interest is the 9 Sqdn Area at Lossiemouth going to be known as Gotham City as it's known at the moment at Marham? Also one of the jets should be known as the BatPhoon.

Re: RAF Marham Tornado Farewell 25.01.19 Statics

Sort of a shame they couldn't have spared an F-35 for the occasion. But I can understand they probably didn't want the F-35 to upstage the Tornados.

Re: Air Cadets question

So it sounds like he wasn’t in the position very long then. Shame both Hoy and Vorderman couldn’t both have been Ambassadors or whatever they were/are together.

Air Cadets question

Sorry if this is the wrong section of the forum but does anyone happen to know wether Sir Chris Hoy is still involved with Air Cadets? I know all about Carol Vorderman being some Ambassador or something but have hardly ever heard anything about wether Sir Chris Hoy is still being involved in The Org...

Have they brought the retirement forward? I for some reason the Tornado retired at the end of March? Or have I got that wrong again?

Re: Marham 23 Jan 19 - Marham 'Special' day

Just looking at these awesome photos, has reminded me how smart the Tornado GR.4 is/was in the days of the Camouflage scheme. Or was it more the GR.1 that wore the camouflage? Still think its going to be strange not seeing an RAF Tornado of any sort flying or on static at an Airshow, lets hope we ge...
