German Air Force Airbus.....

German Air Force Airbus A.310 (I think?) has just performed a go around then headed off.

Can anyone confirm callsign? Thought it was GAF938? Also could any one provide an I.D.

Has this Aircraft been at Fairford?

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 Discussion Thread

Trunk 11, I've not been to (R)IAT since 1993, but I thought exactly the way you do, that the Flying Aircraft are out of view on the far side and photography is impossible and some really nice schemes are hidden and if that Aircraft is a spare then it's never seen apart from those lucky soles who wen...

Re: Extinction Rebellion

Thought I heard an interesting little story regarding the SR-71 Blackbird at Greenham I think. Apparently the protestors got in and doubed the Blackbird with something - paint I think. Anyway apparently come departures day the crew decided to get their own back by staying low on departure then full ...

Wonder if Donald Trump would be interested? He could land Air Force One or (for when he leaves Office) his Boeing 757 (Trump Force One), Think he already has his Sikorsky S.76 for Turnberry.

Funnily enough I spotted that Merlin coming from the North and wondered what was going on, heard on scanner and saw it a second time. it wasn't until I heard about it on the radio/tv and read about it in the paper that I suddenly realised what was going on.

Naughty boy!

Re: Half and half, Habus and 'Varks

Not having seen an operational Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird is my biggest regret as an Aviation Enthusiast. Went to Mildenhall once in 1988 when the Blackbird was there but never saw it. I have seen the Blackbird at Duxford but for some reason it wasn't the same as seeing an operational flying one. Oh b...
