The Army & HASs?

Just been asked an interesting question, what do the Army use the HAS Areas for? I suggested that the RAF still used the South side but didn’t know what the old 43 Sqdn Area was used for.

Re: The Final Three

Was never lucky enough to visit Upper Heyford only Lakenheath but I reckon I must have seen a fair number of both bases Aardvarks and Sparkvarks at Airshows and visiting Aibases all over the UK.

Re: Rugby Union World Cup 2019

Discount Japan at your peril, Ireland and Scotland were caught out, would be surprised if it isn't/ wasn't a Japan - New Zealand Final.

Mind you I predicted an Ireland - New Zealand Final then Japan beat the Irish.

We shall see.

Re: exercise chameleon

Have all the Helicopters and Hercules etc left Leuchars now or are there any still about?

Always disappointed me that Army didn’t base any helicopters at Leuchars. Personally that would have taken some of the disappointment away when the RAF Typhoons left.
