Re: ITV series - Fighter Pilot, the real Top Gun

Congratulations to ITV for a well put together 3 part documentary. Probably one of the better Aviation documentaries I’ve seen in a while apart from the Channel 5 Red Arrows one earlier this year.

Re: F35 day to day Flying

By the sounds of it the RAF seem to be like a driver with an expensive new Sports Car, they never bring it out of the garage - even when it’s dry or raining.

Re: Leuchars the Year it pee'ed it Down (73, 74 or 75?)

And here I thought you were meaning 2008, I was born in '74 so '73 would have been out for me. Never attended an Airshow proper until Leuchars in 1986 even then I didn't stay that long as I never knew/ realised what an occasion it was until 1987.

Any chance of?

Just wondering wether we were expecting a return visit from the French Hercules or the Canadian Polaris that visited a few Weeks ago? Just wondering as the Tattoo has now finished wether any transports were due in connection? Or have they been and gone?

Re: Tattoo Flypasts?

While watching the Tattoo Review Programme on BBC1 earlier, they mentioned that next year is the Tattoo's 70th Anniversary, got me thinking about what the Flypasts maybe like? Wonder wether we may get a Poseidon? They may be in service by then perhaps? As I remembered Nimrods used to carry out Tatto...

Re: Tattoo Flypasts?

Sorry to ask the same old question, take it no one knows the IDs for the Typhoons? I know it's too dark to read them off.
