I was just thinking of the good old days of RAF Mildenhall Air Fete a couple of days ago, it was Friday I think and I seem to remember that my late father and I would set off early on the Friday before ( except 1994 we drove down on Saturday and attended the Sunday Show), and drive all the way down ...

Would have loved to have attended the RIAT at Cottesmore but unfortunately Family Illness and other pieces of bad luck (which I will not go into) prevented me going.

As I've posted elsewhere, If memory serves correctly did the RAF not dress a Typhoon in D-Day Stripe Markings back in 2014? For the display team or something, bit of a shame they couldn't have kept it on until now or revive it?
