Re: Dutch spotter arrested pre childrens day Thailand

The Thai air force base at Prachuap Kiri Khan has it's own beach open to the public and even has it's own hotel which i have stopped at. The first time I approached the base I was waived through the main gate, however, the main road through the base crosses the runway so you may be delayed there. :)...

Panasonic Lumix TZ30, how do I add external mic?

I have just bought a second hand Lumix TZ30 and would like to buy a low cost clip on external mic to try and do some voice overs. Ebay have some clip on mikes at decent prices but I am not sure what leads I may need connecting the camera to the mic. The camera has 2 sockets, a HDMI socket and an AV ...

Re: Tornado farewell flypast February 2019

I was mowing a cricket field near Leicester and around 3-35pm this afternoon a GR4 gave me a farewell flypast. Nothing too exciting, about 2000 feet and not going too quick and heading towards Marham, thanks for the memories.

Re: Tony gets his flypast!

BBC Breakfast mentioned it again today, I think the Take Off Time may be 0845hrs from LN with a Time On Tony in Sheffield of 0855, this was from the TV and not official.
I shall be glued to my TV from 0830 for sure.

Re: Machloop ban

Had Tornado's used to fly through the Mach Loop in darkness using Terrain Following Radar? If so it must have been somewhat scary, I did read once about vehicles being higher than aircraft using TFR, but I am not sure if this was the Loop.

Presumably the C-2 was picking up groundcrew from the Hornet det, I guess the Carrier is still hanging around then?
