Sun then came out so it turned out quite well. Also saw the T2 role demo and met ...

Spoke to one of the NCOs who told us it would be closed all morning but there will be a visiting Tornado arriving 13.15 if anyone is around to catch it?

Leeming 16/06/15

A quick visit to Leeming on Tuesday, just the usual Hawks and a Puma. The Czech exotica had just landed and taxied away before I arrived! https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/348/18925715252_0e3326e628_b.jpg DSC_2960 by Graham Breeze , on Flickr https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/449/18933941011_434eece801_b.jp...

Swallows

While sitting in the viewing area at Leeming the other day I noticed that the swallows were landing on the barbed wire fencing. Didnt stay long but long enough for a few shots...... https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/298/18710671508_59ab173ebf_b.jpg DSC_3014-2 by Graham Breeze , on Flickr https://c2.stat...

Re: Leeming quick stop 16/6/15

Driving past at 3.30 on Tuesday and saw one L159 in the circuit. Unfortunately, by the time I got to the viewing area it had landed and taxied away out of sight. Plenty of the usual Hawk activity up until 4.30 also a Puma landed and refuelled before sleepy hollow closed down for the evening. Hope to...

Re: C130J Flare Trials

For the last couple of weeks Donna Nook has been used for Excercise Low Rider flare trials. I was there a couple of weeks before when Lakenheaths F15s were dropping practice bombs. It has also been used in the evenings in the last couple of weeks by Ospreys practicing gunnery.
