... do not believe XW836 moved from Wallop to Daedelus, as it was still there afterwards and the Daedelus one had no skids or boom. (XW837 next to the mystery one still did have skids so they were not just removed for transport), also would it make more sense both (arriving at roughly the same time) ...

That A26 looks good, didn't know the French operated them. As for the mystery fuelage, look at the following Mirage pic, that tail fairing looks the same.

I think the mystery has been solved. At two minutes past midnight on June 7th someone accidentally switched on the avionics. We had one single ping through the network from AE4AE6 09-0015. On its own that doesn't pin things down ...
