For LM 47 Take the A977 west from J 6 of the M 90, then right onto the B 918. Look right once you pass the first set of chicken sheds which are on the right. The cabs will be head on. Also some visibility from the A91 to the north of the airfield, but the furthest cab may only be showing rotors and ...

Re: Qatari Hawks and RAF Pumas, Tuesday March 15th

XW235 Q is the likely suspect for the third one. Seen on ADSB with the other two later in the week, all with Ambush callsigns.

Re: Apaches

I may be wrong, but from the ADS-B traces, the four listed in the Leeming '14 April' post are likely still operating from there.

And Texans ZM331 and 332 were ground running on the Affinity Flightline during the morning.
By 0915 on Friday, of the visitors, only the F16s and the Tucano were still present.

Leeming 20th April - Apaches x4

There were three Apaches parked on the apron in front the northern HAS site, with a fourth landing at 1450. The three parked looked as if they were not going anywhere soon. Maybe they are staying over.

Grateful for any ids!

Quite a few preserved, typically in Blue Angels scheme. F-12 - two-seat interceptor version of the A-11. Two YF-12s buil...

ZH894 was on ADSB this morning coming up from the south as SHF447. It has shown this afternoon as ULT2 with ZH776 as ULT1, when a two-ship went past my house! Not yet confirmed if 894 is an extra or a swap for 892.

Re: Eagle Strike.

Indeed it should have been! Both Chinooks flew again today. One Wildcat departed 0930, and shortly after when I turned up at the waving bay there were two visible, the one I could read off being ZZ393. A non-FC post said one had gone towards Leeming early morning, so that was likely 393. I checked t...
