Re: 493 FS Grim Reapers F-15C/D at Lakenheath
Is there an Estimated arrival of the Reapers F35s? I know their boss bird is on it's way, but what's that going to do after it arrives. Are the 495th going to use it, until they finish getting up to strength and the 493rd return, then they can have a slightly used aircraft back. Or is it going to si...

With three meant to have gone today but cancelled, how many would be left until the sad day of all gone?

The LN Sqns have been at the September Air Show at Duxford for the last couple of years. From memory located at the front of the American Air Museum.
That's not to say they will be there this though

Mildenhall Nose Art from Yesteryear Part 2
So across the way from the 100th's tankers the SOG had examples of Nose Art too. Again all taken by me at Mildenhall Air Show, of the mildenhall based aircraft. Feel free to add. example of the 7th SOS MC-130 taken in 2001. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4604/39564748642_491e576f08_b.jpg Merlin's Ma...

Re: Mildenhall Hall Nose Art from Yesteryear
Great Add on Gents. Thanks for the replies. I knew the 100th had had a few in the past!
Michael, the 100th must have had another KC called Nightmare, as it was called 'Another Nightmare'.
Keep them all coming.

Mildenhall Nose Art from Yesteryear
With the 100th ARW now applying nose art to its aircraft, it made me think of the examples that we have had in the past within the wing. Looking through my photos from airshows past I have managed to scan these. These were all taken by me, and all taken at Mildenhalls legendary airshow, unless other...

Re: Welsh low flying suspended?
Excuse my ignorence, but does this mean that there will be no really low flying in the whole of wales until Septmeber, for instance the loop.
I have never been to the loop but was thinking of giving it a go this year.

Re: Coningsby Opening hours 12th to 15th March
Hi Guy's,
So have they been flying as usual today or does it look like another night flying week.
Only ask as I was thinking of cming up tomorrow, but its a bit of a trek from Suffolk and didn't want to waste my time if they aren't flying.
Thanks in advance
Phil

And the sun came out over suffolk
At last the weeks of gloom lifted and the sun came out over suffolk, all be it hazy sun, which made things a little tricky. But still what more could I ask for for my first trip out of the year. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2685/4309153812_b2eaa2da74_o.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2776/43091...
