Re: Queen's Birthday Flypast 2015

Does anyone know the timings and flight plan after it has done the fly past. Was wondering if anything will overfly RAF Halton.

Many thanks.

Re: Upper Heyford - August 1985 - Over the fence

This thread typifies what is so great about FC. I love the info and nostalgia from years gone by. I was 10 in 1985 and didn't really get into aircraft and photography until relatively recently when I had the funds to travel about etc. Many thanks for a great thread. I would loved to have been at Hey...

Re: Redruth 24/6/14 @ 17:25

Thanks guys, I thought it was probably a Tornado it was really moving fast. I don't remember seeing one that fast down this way. It scared my 4 year old ( and my wife) as they weren't expecting it. We had at least 1 hawk about today which he liked seeing.

Excellent photos, do you need a ladder at that end?

Many thanks.

Red jets in close formation over Tring today

My wife and boy saw at least 5 jets heading roughly north over Tring today at approx midday. They said they were red and white. My 4 year old says they were the red arrows. Were they about today?

Many thanks.

Re: DUE: 03/06/14

I was at Fairford for the last one, confirmed 069. Now, a silly question. How does the USAF numbering work? I'm very new to military stuff! There was a small 80 and 069 larger on the tail. Is this 80-1069 or just 80069? Also what is the C5 number? 60016 is on the tail but what would the rest be? Sor...
