Night flying

Alright chaps,

We were planning a trip on Monday but just realised that Valley has scheduled night flying starting next week. What time do they typically start going up on night flying weeks ?

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 Discussion Thread

Parking was absolutely shambolic, over an hour to get out. Marshalls had no clue alongisde being sarcastic and arrogant. Worst I've ever seen it. Couldn't organise a pee up in a brewery! :grr: Everyone fighting to get into the queue, no logical system and they didn't have a care in the world. It wa...

I take it that we are not getting anymore updates? Pity as I was expecting the Japanese to send something
Once you start expecting then you are building yourself up to be dissapointed, The Japanese support of RIAT for the past 6 years has been phenominal.

RIAT has had the F-35 for the past 4 years, what a strange example to give.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 Discussion Thread

This year is far from a classic but it is still arguably the best and varied line up you're going to see in the world. DBH consistently do it year after year while making a profit which sees a sizeable portion go to Charity. There is no logical reason to think about making it bi-annual.

HI does anybody have a serial for the Stateside KC-135 parked up over the North side of the base, looks like it may have 'Wisconsin' on the tail.

Viewfinder blur d7200

Alright chaps, dropped my camera on Sunday at home before heading to Cosford. Done a quick few test shots in the back garden to see what the damage was, everything through the viewfinder looks blurry. it locks on and the autofocus works (but it still looks blurry through the viewfinder), it takes th...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 Discussion Thread

I can't see why it isn't a RIAT item, as far back as I can remember there have been airliners appearing.

Even the best RIAT of the modern era (2012) had an airliner display.

The A380 low approach and climb out after the flypast in 13 was excellent, hopefully the 747 will do something similar.

Your better off at the South side runway 36. You can access a field via a crash gate and get to the end of 36 there. Very good views.

Aaaagh I drove down there and actually parked up but I wasnt sure if I was allowed in the field or not.
