Slogen - There's more than empirical evidence, Covid is a transmission disease, the more people you come into contact with the more likely you are to catch it. The fact we've had it relatively worse than others is evidence if needed that the population explosion since 1997, and increasing urbanisati...

Re: Chalgrove Airfield (Houses)

As yet another airfield faces the prospect of disappearing to the greedy developers. My guess is MB arent exactly keen on vacating, hence the ridiculous plan to build literally next to an active runway. And the locals aren't too chuffed about this outline planning application, so if they kick up eno...

Re: Bruntingthorpe news

This article explains the new owners plans for the airfield over the next few years I believe over the next year they are installing a new instrumental approach system (GNSS) which will allow more jet aircraft to operate there and will mean pilots will not have to rely on a visual approach. once th...

Re: Bruntingthorpe news

Kemble sounds promising and used to have a thriving historic and vintage jet community, be good to see it re-established. But I do recall, not that long ago, the owners were openly pushing it forwards for inclusion in the local development plan, for housing. It was knocked back, but I'd be keen to k...

Was Mallet Blow held in 1988? Can't seem to find anything in 'BAR'. Mallet Blow 87/1 to 87/3 in, you've guessed it, 1987.
obscure reference but this seems to confirm it was MB 88/2 that week, back in 1988...

Re: RAF Marham 28/7/1988

I think the 'NAR' request might prove a bit of a dead end: 'BAR' has visitors for 25/7 and 29/7 and they credit 'NAR' with the information; 'BAR' would have included any visitors for the days in between if 'NAR' had provided it. Were you looking for any aircraft in particular - there's always the c...
