He has effectively scrubbed his online presence, all social media, discord account, GitHub repos, etc. however I saw a message on the airframes.io Discord a few days ago saying TBG is "...alive and ok. No updates on what is up."

Re: HMS Sultan 03/04/2024

That's an awful lot of hardware sitting around doing nothing. What on earth are you on about? Less than one second of my time to google "HMS Sultan" and the first result says "HMS Sultan is the home of Defence School of Marine Engineering (DSMarE) and the Royal Naval Air Engineering and Survival Sc...

Shame that the white truck was blocking the outside lane, therefore stopping anyone from passing :-(
Plenty of room to get around that as long as you have a heavy enough right foot

Re: B1b RAF Fairford

That is a very, very big can of worms.

In short, the forum is meant to be used with any movements for any airfield or bit of sky being in Heads Up & OTT. Once something is on the ground, its departure and/or arrival time and any other notes can be posted in the airfield's section.

Re: Bomb range warning after moped incident

"Earlier this week, the RAF said spectators were risking serious injury by standing too close to jets as they take off and land at its Coningsby and Waddington bases, also in Lincolnshire."

We're they inside the fence or something?

Re: Google Earth F15's

F-15Es normally park on the two ramps from my (albeit limited) experience, I wonder if the sun shelters were still being built so both squadrons were displaced onto one ramp.

Otherwise it just looks like a normal day of possibly 06 ops to me, with a visitor in!

Re: Glossary of terms

There are two options. Land, or don't.

The first option has one option: land.

The second option has many options: touch and go, low approach, go around, etc.

Re: Italian Navy Portsmouth Dockyard

MM81636 is an MH-101A, MM81485 is an SH-101A...unless anyone thinks differently? The Italian designation system is utterly broken.

Re: New Depth Support Facility

Parts will be by road, just like they are to Wattisham, or Boscombe, or Fleetlands, or Valley, or anywhere else that does depth work for various fleets.

I'd imagine most of it arrives in the UK by ship or commercial belly cargo anyway.
