Re: Edwards AFB Airshow 23 October 1993 Flying F-117s

Pieter, then that confirms what BARG had then. Many thanks. I was just double checking my logs where I did not read things off over the years and noticed that Scramble had all four down. The unit did have four at the time from official records hence the question. As for Mojave I do have a log and wi...

Edwards AFB Airshow 23 October 1993 Flying F-117s

Can anyone confirm the flying F-117s at this show? I always had 79-10782, 79-10783 and 85-0831 down. A couple taxied onto the crowd side which were read off but I think one went to the far side flight line. The one in question is '782. BARG have the three aforementioned serials as on the flight line...

REQ AV-8B 163515 and 163519 from 1993

During a visit to Yuma in October 1993 I saw an AV-8B code WL23. BARG at the time had a good rundown of based AV-8's, it looked like from a base visit, which tied this into being 163515. By April 1994 there is a photo of WL23 on the net, this time being 163519, BUT it was very difficult to distingui...

Re: Required Saturday 14th July 2018

Zeus F-16 that flew was 520, read off my photo.

I'd be interested if anyone has photo of the Swiss as I needed one of them

Re: Yeovil (Westlands) Sightings Spring 2018

The Lynx took off just as I arrived back at Yeovil as WHE02 at about 14:00, awaiting its return. Wish I’d refuelled AFTER checking the field now. ZJ122 took off after it as WHE03 but returned quite quickly.

Re: REQ Tucson area - specific H-34 requests.

I MAY have an answer re my own question re the ones at Tucson airport, 145779 and 148001. These two ended up at Sunsites and it is quite possible all four went the same way. Of those serials reported at Sunsites all were reported, according to the AMARC books in Allied until at least 1992 except two...

REQ Tucson area - specific H-34 requests.

Can anyone help with any of the below, all related to H-34s in the Tuscon area. I am looking for confirmation of sightings in any of the yards around DM for these specific aircraft. 145701 - Eurodemobbed have this as at Allied yard in 2007. Other than the amarcexperience website I had not seen repor...

Noted on the field just after 1600 today was Chinook ZH904 but more interesting was Sea King mk4 with all marks painted out and only a white 19 on the side. Possibly for Pakistan? Bob

REQ Fort Rucker 1996

From a visit to Fort Rucker a long time ago (1996), I never did tie up some serials from codes. Anyone able to help? The Rucker codes consist of the serial last two followed by a letter that I believe is allocated sequentially so no two aircraft have the same code. UH-1 15N (mispole for 15H/69-15315...

There were two more Auster frames inside the museum, one I suspect from the remaining painted bits was was the ex gate guard WZ724, the other was simply the metalwork. Bob
