Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2017 Discussion Thread
Actually, the U-2 for RIAT was my idea :-) During a visit to Beale AFB last March, I asked them to check the Busy Relay schedule. It turned out they were planning to swop jets in the week after RIAT. I briefed them unofficially on the world's greatest airshow. They were enthusiastic about participa...

Heard there is a fly over of a handful of vintage aircraft to include Chivenor? Not sure if correct but sounds authentic

Re: AFC for Chris Gotke Sea Fury Landing
In pretty much everything we do, we could always do better. I played some sport in a previous younger life and almost every game you came off thinking, I should have done that, I didn't do that well or I could have done that better! Then you get feed back and you realise you actually did good in the...

JOSH. If you have a disability re your spelling, then I have no wish to be critical of it But yet you chose to be. Moving on. For anyone actually in the know it is obvious (is it not) that in any incident there are many variables. passing comment is no more than a guess without those variables. ?(m...

Re: Female U-2 pilot
Article! Some people on here know how clever you are. Remember you will never know as much as the armchair spotters who know everything as they have read it somewhere! I wouldn't bother replying if i were you, you will only have some armchair expert disagreeing with you simply because that is the wa...

I watched a video (trying to find it) where the U2 pilots talk about wrestling and fighting the Yoke.

Re: Sea fury crash landing @ Culdrose air day
Does anyone know anyone from the RNHF? just Wondering if the extent of damage is beginning to come out! I would imagine they would need a big increase in funding this year after the unfortunate time they have had recently. Anyone know what a Centaurus rebuild would cost for starters

I have just copied and pasted this and forwarded it. Article you have a new friend from the past U2 community he said your posts make him feel very proud and he knows a former SR71 pilot who you went and visited in America. I will PM you a name he said he has heard all about you.

Re: Weds 28th and Yeovilton
Hi radfan,
The Herc was RAF and saw it come over the road, so assumed it had taken off, but now you mention it may have flown over. The chipmunk was not in Army air-corps markings. could only see from distance but looked Italian/portugese? sorry I am a novce lol

Re: Injured in a car accident??
This should be the new craze see how much you can wind them up. A little while there was a computer virus one which we heard about. and some guy would call and say he was from Microsoft and there is a virus on your computer and if you paid over the phone he will sort it out for you. Fortunately one ...
