Re: No parking on roadside

Hi TORNADO-GR4

Glad it worked out for you... I was in Scarborough on Friday watching SABRE & DAWG Flights over head chasing each other about... If you happen to know the serial tie ups for these flights it would be very much appreciated... I did post a request but sadly nothing came back.

Re: No parking on roadside

Hi TORNADO-GR4

From my experience on Wednesday just a few Eagle movements around 12 noon... then it was 2.30pm when afew F16s and Eagles came out to play and then it all kicked off at about 4pm with Eagles and F16s which all recovered between 5.30pm and 6pm.

Hope you have a good day.

Re: Newark Air Museum Aeroboot / Aerojumbles 2020

Hi NAM Updater Thanks for the update... I expected that this may have been the outcome after hearing the Governments decision. I think NAM didn't have any choice... It's a shame but the right action to take in order to protect all involved. I look forward to participating in the next event when ever...

Re: USMC F-35 September 2020?

Hi Tony

It was very difficult to see... It was a case of moving one step check one step check and the nose came in to sight in a very small gap... my mate who was with me took a while to get it even when I put him in the right place.

Hope you get it on your next visit.

Re: Wednesday 09-Sept 2020

Thanks nich

Sounds like that was right... I tried from many angles but could only spot more F15s dotted about the HAS shelters.

My guess would be they were in HAS shelters opposite the line of F16s two of which the doors were open on Wednesday?

Thanks again.

Re: USMC F-35 September 2020?

Hi Brian We parked up at 06.30am at the bottom of the hill on some hard stand opposite the base entrance. We then walked back up the hill on the grass verge and saw 3 RAF jets in the first shelter... then a little further up the next shelter had 6 USMC F35s in it which were 00...03...04...06... 08.....
