Make it topless might sell a couple more tickets, linesperson and refs in black stockings, basques and garters, Benny Hill theme tune as the teams arrive on the pitch with Phil Neville chasing them in a policemans uniform waving a truncheon.

Re: How bad is your ISP

Apart from Virgin all the other ISPs use bits of copper and in some areas aluminium wire. I have had problems with multiple ISPs and eventually open-reach come and swap wires. This transfers the issue to someone else in the road . Eventually they do lots of complaining and it gets moved back to me ....

Re: English Channel hunt for wreck of stolen Mildenhall C-13

I wouldn't think a Lightning would have the range to get to near Guernsey where it went down . At low to medium level it would need a F4 to get from East Anglia and back . A ex Bentwaters controller said it was one of their jets that got it, So many conflicting stories about this, perhaps the truth ...

Re: Even you can land an F-35B

I spoke to a F35B pilot at an airshow and he trotted out the usual "its all marvellous" line. I asked what he flew previously he said the Harrier so I asked which was the most fun to fly he looked around to make sure no-one was listening and he said it was the Harrier by a mile.

Worzels record takes some beating:- Invited two IRA members to parliament two weeks after the Brighton bombing. Attended darn Sunday commemoration with bomber Brendan McKenna. Attended meeting with Provisional IRA member Raymond McCartney. Hosted IRA linked Mitchell McLaughlin in parliament. Spoke a...

Re: 9th June. A hung Parliament.

Fraud in elections in the UK is far too easy both sides have been up to it over the years . http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/11560017/Postal-voting-fraud-is-easy-electoral-commissioner-says.html It needs an in depth investigation into these latest claims and there may be a social...

I bet if Corbyn had won he would have thrown the USAF out of the UK so we may just have got this years RIAT then that would be it.

Re: 9th June. A hung Parliament.

I think that the two advisors to May that got binned today were the problem along with May taking their advice to have an election. Then alienating the core Conservative voters OAPs etc. It will be Boris v Worzel Corbyn next time ,its a Shame that Nigel Farage did not jump to the Torys at least he w...

Re: 9th June. A hung Parliament.

I agree Herdsman . A few other factors worked against her ,she should have pushed the new boundary changes through as currently they give Labour a 10 - 20 seat advantage. No conservative leader has yet taken on the obvious anti tory bias in the BBC. I am not sure the Torys recognise the indoctrinati...

I know the Vulcan is near impossible to dismantle to transport but it would look nice next to a B52 and Shack at Pima air museum Az . It would not rot there but might get sunburned..

Re: Future of F-35B under Trump.

The thing that may bin the F35B is likely to be its own poor performance in operational conditions . If it works ok on windswept decks and being shot at by enemies the Marines will want to keep it.

USMC F18 one year ago

Just noticed it is a year since that awful day when a USMC pilot lost his life when his F18 crashed in the Fens.
Has there been an offical accident report yet.

Re: "Highflight"

One query; ALL officers working in the control tower have pilots wings. Was that normal back then, or just the wardrobe mistresses fantasy? Probably quite normal for Air Traffic in the RAF to be ex aircrew in the 1950s . I worked in civil air traffic in the 70s and worked with several ex WW2 pilots...

Re: Brexit - EU Poll

I want a petition to have the Tudor victory a the Battle of Bosworth Field reversed in favour of the Yorkists. This travesty of justice has led to 500 years of misrule by effete southerners. Look at the mess they have got us into. They have given us Knees up Mother Brown, Jellied Eels, Chas n Dave a...

Re: Modern UK Air to Air Kills ?

I think I rolled this grenade of a question a couple of times on a couple of forums and one RAF mess. "When did an RAF pilot in a RAF aircraft last shoot down an enemy aircraft"
The standard Jag answer was trotted out but the most likely answer is 1946 an Israeli Spitfire.
