Good to see the Beverley in its new home.
I wonder why Elvington didn’t want it, what with its Yorkshire heritage.

Lost spotting book
Good morning. An unusual request for what I think is my 1000th post on FC, but I might have dropped my copy of Airliner Fleets Quick Reference 2022 (AFQR) at the back of the car park on Thursday morning. As Sherlock Holmes said, once all the possible solutions are exhausted, whatever is left must be...

Re: 135s, 707s and variants at Mildenhall
Great pictures of possibly my favourite aircraft. Re the 135 is a military 707 thing, my understanding is: 1. 135 was developed from the Boeing 367-80 and came first. 2. 135 has a narrower fuselage. 3. Early 707s had a similar wing to the 135 with straight trailing edges. 4. Early 707s were short. 5...

Re: Toulouse museums
Very interesting.
Some rarities in there.
The Voodoo looks in better condition than the French stuff.
I know it's civil, but I have vivid memories of the Air Toulouse Caravelles coming into Newcastle in 1992(?). Smokey!

Hi
They were
60500

OO-FAE
All except the C-37 landed earlier on Sunday morning
And my own request for the P188 which took off during the afternoon with a blue stripe.

Interesting shots.
Made me wonder if they have a boom operator's window after all but I think it's just a hole where a drogue and basket can come out (?)
Thanks for posting.

Re: REQ B-52s in store AMARG
Hi Freeman, Many thanks! I wonder if you can help with some other queries please? The ARM/DMI scrapyard had 7 EC-130 fuselage sections. Usdemobbed lists six: 156170, 172, 173, 174, 175 and 177. I had a look on c-130.net and a close match for the missing one is 161531 but that went to Canada some tim...

REQ B-52s in store AMARG
Hi there,
AMARG experience and gmap.nl list 26 B-52s in area 24.
My photos from Feb 2024 only have 25 B-52s in area 24. So does Google Earth.
There is what looks like a fuselage section at the southern end near the white containers.
Is this the missing number 26?
MTIA.

Ferrari

Iain, Many thanks for the C-20 and the Pima stuff. TomMc Nice logs there and helpful too. Those CH-53Ks - are they new builds? Practical info on car hire. I went with Avis who had a deal with BA. I paid an extra £100 for a Samsung tablet with Satnav and internet connection which was definitely worth...

RACER51 - many thanks for the T-6 serials. My viewing experience at AMARG: As mentioned above I got chased off be a very courteous but thorough security guy after my first hour at the corner on Escalante Rd where you can look over the Celebrity Row and so devoted the day to Pima, knowing I was doing...
