Hi J, The answer to your question is buried within ' UK Heads up. Movements & OTT. I don't think you can view this as you haven't posted the enabling number of posts (5) on here. So, it looks like your lucky numbers were: ZH827,837,840,841,851 & 857. If there's anything anyone else can add to this, ...

Andy,

And it's just the latest images for France and Greece, is it not? Earlier images are unaffected.

BN managed 81 troops as a HC1 back in '82. Still a record for troops perhaps?

I still see a light twinkling in the distance, but it may only be a matter of time til that light disappears!

Re: US military designations (F4F/F4U/F-4)

Thanks Chris. That's very well explained.
Now, is RCH036 (into Mildenhall this pm) currently a C-46 because it hasn't a refuelling mission and was it categorised as a ( )-46 when it hadn't got a a cargo mission a while back. Just asking.

Interesting shot

Wonder how , if at all, that aerial configuration has changed over the years.
Mike,
I imagine that Bob Archer's latest (recently mentioned under 'Aviation books to read') might have your answer.

Hi Jon, There are a number of superb modellers showing their incredible work on here. All extremely entertaining to look at.
Your style though means your builds are a must see for me.

Mike,
I logged 76-0164 on 16.5.82 at Leavesden. Could that be your 'frame? You might have climbed up the bank and have been looking through trees?

Isn't A330MRTT an Airbus designation and KC-30 an operator designation? Both the MMF and Australia use the latter.
