Re: RAF Binbrook Show 1982 - Lightnings ! (large post)

Great set Keith  I think we must have been stood 'shoulder to shoulder' at some points on the line.
It was a proper base with proper planes, but alas it didn't fit into the great scheme of things

Great selection Paul  Alot of rare birds in there too and you were there in sunshine or 'carp' weather.
Hopefully I might get some more time out this coming year.

Re: When 8 screws were better than 4 blow-jobs

Hi Paddyboy :P Love them shots. The Shackleton was so iconic, great noise on take off. Used to love to see them in the skies around Binbrook, great memories. All the best Andy Indeed Andy, I remember getting a portable cassette recorder one year and putting it to good use standing on the approach i...

Re: Mirage 2000-5 and Rafale in lovely winter light

Hi Kevin,
Very nice and clear & crisp shots. The Mirages bring back so many good memories (of those same aircraft) back in the North Sea ACMI deployment days into Waddington. Seems an absolute age ago now :'(

Find Postimages.com site, as recommended by FC members, very easy to use 3Greens :thumb: Could you post the full URL for that site please? I've had a look and it seems that the owner has it up for sale! I've paid my annual subscription for Flickr this week for my unlimited 'Pro' account, it works o...

Re: PIK early morning

Great set of pics  Have enjoyed some good old KC707 action this year. With regard to Photobucket... the best thing I ever did was dumping them  Don't understand alot of the technicalities discussed but for me their constant irritating site ads and general attitude scored 'nil points' a...

Great selection Gary. Really got the best of the visitors there. Wondered who might have been about when the Israeli KC707 made the approach - not your usual 'white top'

Re: Linton on Ouse 07.10.19

Great set Andy  I agree they have quite a charisma and still seem to me to be quite 'stylish'. I remember one the first factory demonstrators being displayed at Mildenhall - really impressed with that. From the JP days I always liked Linton as great for viewing and just generally seeing what...
