Re: Strange movement, Inverness???

Video has emerged of which could be what I saw on Thursday 19/9/19 but this time it looks as if to be in America going by the womans accent. As I have stated they faded out as if entering earths shadow like the ISS. Makes me wonder if its a couple of highly reflective satelites . https://www.youtube...

Re: Strange movement, Inverness???

Just to confirm, the white lights I saw were steady on and not really bright . I would estimate around mag 0 or +1 for those who follow space stuff.

Re: Strange movement, Inverness???

I wasn't going to bring the subject of strange white lights in the sky but on Thursday night around 1945 hrs I saw two white lights heading NE over Newark line a stern which eventually faded out. No green/red strobes. Checked FR24, Freedar, plane finder and Heavens above for satelite passes and all ...

Re: ZH107

Yes, at the moment only ZH103 is airworthy. ZH107 has not flown since receiving its special 54 squadron tail paint some years ago, and it's now withdrawn from use. ZH105 was the first to be withdrawn some time ago, and has basically been the first sacrifice to help the others, loosing it's outer wi...

Re: Waddington Air Day - 3 July '93

Good grief , I remember this. Only got a few pics of this show. Nice relaxed sort of day and I got in for nothing as the guard on the main gate waved me through saying 'nice motorbike mate'!

A meteor a long way away will always appear slower than a meteor nearer to you, even though they could be doing the same speed.
Good point,but still lasted a long time for a meteor,around 5 seconds.

Was it this one? https://ukmeteornetwork.co.uk/fireballs ... 10_050702/
No,the one I saw was on the 12th and no where near as spectacular. It was just the length of time it survived and its slow speed for a meteor that was interesting.

Re: Definite UFO's over Southern Ireland !

Can't explain what one pilot said about two objects climbing, but I was out last night at about 1900 and saw a white meteor that lasted around 4 or 5 seconds with minimal tail low in the south falling at a 45 degree angle.

Re: Kamov KA-32 Helix - Could nt believe my eyes.

Yes , saw it yesterday near Tuxford while working on the railway. I was expecting to see a Chinook flying low and waiting for it to appear over a tree line only to look further up and see a Kamov 32!

Grey Jet Provost/Strike Master

I've seen this jet flying around and performing aerobatics over Claypole not far from Cranwell and Barkston heath over the last few weeks. Anyone know where it could be based and who owns it? lovely to see ,reminds me when they were common place flying over the house as a kid.

1: Buccaneer S2B remember seeing Laarbruch based ones. 2: Lightning f3 standing on its tail and disappearing rapidly at Caythorpe collage near RAF Cranwell ,last ever time I saw one fly. 3: F 104 G multiple aircraft seen low level over Osnabruck giving it some welly. These burnt into my memory at an...

Re: Hunting the Fast Movers! - your sightings and data

Sorry. Very, very sceptical about this. I cannot take seriously the fact that of all the thousands of people in the Military, of many nations, who must have heard/seen/been involved with this 'project' absolutely NO-ONE has leaked it to the press. NO-ONE!!!. For thousands of people to be so secreti...
