Re: Ex Brilliant Foil '95 @ Leeming

Good memories - these shots remind me what a good looking jet the Tornado F3 was.

Re: Based Rc-135s

This is the longest break in RC-135 TDY missions from the Hall for quite a while - nothing flown since early January I think I'm right in saying?

Re: Readiness exercise..

Looking at the forecast winds for next week it could well put the kibosh on planned flying activity over these dates?

Re: International Air Tattoo 1989 - Updated

Great scans of a brilliant show - my first IAT! Nice artwork on the 135's. Went with Dad and Grandad and remember we left early as the heat was unbearable. Arrived late too due to some very long queues. Fond memories of the SAC set piece with KC-135, B-1B, FB-111, etc.

Re: Mildenhall 1st Febuary.

What's a Nacho tdy please? Most of the time at Mildenhall (though not always) there is a '135 from one of the AFRC or AMC wings that is on TDY. They usually stay for about a fortnight and frequently fly with the callsign ' Nacho 71'. I think the idea is to support the 100th ARW with some of their A...

Wow - more visiting tanker movements in a day than Mildenhall gets in a month nowadays! Those Ohio jets look lovely with the cheat line and titles. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Camo ANG F-15C

Not likely at RIAT as the Klamath Falls USAFANG Exercise Sentry Falls is on from the 16-19th July and I would be amazed if the resident squadron did not have this signature aircraft there! The Oregon ANG said in a press release that the open day (18th July) at Klamath Falls during Sentry Eagle will...

Wonderful shots - seeing Tonkas, Jags and Hawks in camo really brings it home how much better they looked in those days, especially with the colourful Squadron markings thrown in. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Wanted - B-1B nose art slide 'Jagged Edge'

I don’t have a slide, but I could do a re print from colour negative, taken at Waddington 2001. If I remember correctly there were two examples and this was the one that did the flying display and was parked down on D dispersal away from the crowds( the static one was “Wolf Pack”). The shot I have ...
