Lovely sharp shots - thanks for sharing. The T-38 in the 3-tone blue camo looks absolutely superb.

Fantastic set of images - very hard to pick a favourite. However, the evening Israeli F-15 and the Madhatters Strike Eagle on the EOR really are superb.

Thanks for sharing.

Super shots Gary - love the OC-135, P-8s and the NJ Tiger Tanker. All in all a great record of some very nice visitors over the past few months.

Re: 79th leave UH

You are correct Darren - the 79th first, then the 77th (remember that lovely artwork on 68-0049 'The Gamblers Last Deal'?) and finally the 55th which I think (someone can correct me no doubt) deactivated in October '93 with the last aircraft departing early that December.

Smashing shots - love the Tiger nose art and tail stripe on the furthest jet in the first shot.

Can’t get enough of these UH threads - thanks for sharing.

Re: Tiger Meet RIAT 1997

Some lovely schemes here - love the Bone. There were 4 at that show!

I’m pretty certain quite a few of these are from the 1991 Tiger Meet. The Portuguese Gina, Tiger F-15C from Bitburg, Italian Starfighter and French AF Magister for example.

Re: Fence hanging at UH

Just fantastic shots. Shots 5 & 7 show just how close you could get to the jets at UH - mindblowing really. These bring back many happy memories of summer days spent at this spot with my Dad. I recall one really busy day in 1991 I think with all 4 based squadrons busy plus visiting Belgian F-16s, C-...

Re: Prestwick 30/9/19

Lovely artwork on the Penn tanker - they had the best artwork in the tanker fleet for a while. Sadly a lot was removed but good to see a few have survived or maybe (hopefully!) it's making a comeback.

Re: Greta Thunberg?

As highlighted by the previous two posters, I used the term sad because people are dismissive of her based purely on her age. As if to say young people can't have an opinion (or that their opinion cannot be taken seriously) because they don't have 'life experience'. I'm not sure how much 'life exper...

Re: Greta Thunberg?

Just to highlight it's certainly not my intention to come across as preaching to anyone - this achieves nothing. The first point I was trying to raise was really about how sad I thought the reaction to Greta Thunberg was in this thread - the synicicsm and dismissal of somebody doing something that i...

Re: Greta Thunberg?

I found it pretty sad (as in genuinely sad) reading this thread. Adults criticising a young person who has had the courage to try to actually do something about what is the most significant issue mankind has probably ever faced. I’m hoping that those who are critical of her (and what she stands for)...

Have to agree with the sentiment above - those CP-140s looked absolutely sublime in that paint scheme. Thanks for sharing these.
