Re: Trump visit

15:26 Formation has just passed to the North of Northolt and split with 2 CH-47s motoring ahead and the third joining up with the 2 VH-60s, Police 251 leading. All look to be routing to Watford.

They went to Regents park from Northolt.

Re: Obama NATO visit 2014

While we’re on the subject what was the third VH-60N which was unloaded and flown off to Cardiff? I have a feeling there may be an error in my logs.

Thanks Nitro, I believe they are now using the old 135 hangars near the middle of the airfield now for U-2 Ops though

Re: Notam 12-11-2019

Very glad to see history didn’t repeat itself, but talk about de ja vu.

68-10337 Dragon 02 now landed safely. The pogo detached itself at 1.8 DME as the flaps were lowered for the first touch and go attempt to free it. After it was free Dragon 02 continued with its planned circuits.

Showing as AE67F5 on Mode-S, so I think it will be a different airframe from the 4 that have been in recently

Re: Interesting notam

There have been a high number of Reach movements through Prestwick in just the last couple of weeks which have arrived & departed late night and in the early hours of the morning. Mildenhall very rarely gets movements during these times, and as the Notam states movements during these times at Fairfo...

Re: Notam today 14th

I personally think that’s even more confusing, you may as well just leave it all in the Fairford section at that point.

Given how busy this place is getting that might be the best solution, just get rid of the deployment section all together

Not heard BRIG callsign before - anyone any ideas?
They are 4 B-52s inbound from Barksdale

BRIG03 now turned direct Edinburgh. BRIG01 & 02 continuing East North of the Shetlands

Edit: Probably direct Leuchars, actually!

Re: SPUR91-95 & BRIG

Given the duration of the Notam for Fairford tonight, I wonder if BRIG01 & 02 are heading off elsewhere before recovering?

Just an assumption, but BRIG03 may be with 04 (Not tracking) and heading directly into Fairford
