Re: SJ situation Sunday 16th June 2019

If you're going tomorrow you'll want to get there for around 6am as the last two batches of SJ Eagles departed between 6 & 7 in the morning.

Re: SJ situation Sunday 16th June 2019

If they don't go tomorrow morning then I'd say so. Not sure what's delaying them, maybe tanker tech issues?

Also interesting to note that 80-1085 today had a standard nose cone, no SYERS equipped.

Re: Notam today 29th April

Interesting to note that 80-1094 (which arrived on the 23rd as Dragon 88) is equipped with the very rarely seen SYERS Nose, clearly ferrying it out with the jet.

According to a post on Facebook it also attempted to depart this afternoon but aborted.

Re: Dragon 86/88

4 C-17s came into Fairford before the B-52 Ex presumably delivering equipment, only 2 C-17s have been in after the Ex to take that equipment home. So it would make sense that this C-5 is taking the last of it out, but that's just a guess.

Re: Dragon 86

Dragon 86 pinging on Mode S as AE0954, 80-1071

Dragon 88 will be following it in, currently at FL500 West of Manchester pinging as AE0968, 80-1094.

Serials will need eyeball confirmation.

Still no Notam published and Dragon 86 is down to 5,000ft!

494th FS Spouse Taxi Friday?

Looks like possibly the spouses (or maybe even ground crews?) of the Panther Eagle Drivers have just been given a bit of a joy ride in the back of an F-15 around the base at Lakenheath. The following all just performed a taxi run down runway 06 and back in to park with almost all radio communication...

Re: Russian Open Skies An-30 01 BLUE

If anyone has con numbers for all the An-30's I listed above it would be interesting to know, half of them aren't listed on Scramble.
