PROWLER2, ZJ221 passed over Grantham a short while ago, currently approaching Peterborough (19:19L)

I like those alot, it takes me back to the 80's.
(I don't own a camera, but it reminds me of the photos my Dad took and as you say , trawling down to Boots).

I'm not sure if these are your aircraft, but these came over my house ( a few miles south of Banbury) at low level tracking NNE sometime between 1pm and 2pm.
I went inside and noted the below off my dump1090:
Jigsaw1 43c1e8 / ZH880 and
Jigsaw2 43c024 / ZH879

If you happen to be up late tonight, the above is now on More 4+1.

Yes, we noticed some spectacular clouds last Wednesday too in our area. I'm not sure where you're located?
It was interesting seeing how contrails were being dispersed at different rates, creating some unusual shapes.

Blitzortung (UK) keeps taking me to Tokyo for some reason, so I can't see the direction of travel.
The wind was westerly earlier, and I did see some activity earlier over S Wales, so we'll see what happens.
