Re: 2017(18th annual) Abingdon Air & Country Show

Hi all, this shamefully was my first visit to the Abingdon Air & Country Show and my wife and I spent a very enjoyable day here. In my past defence, this show is usually held the same weekend as the Microlight Trade fair at Popham or I have been rostered to work by my employer who ironically had a d...

LOG/REQ: Coningsby - Wednesday 22nd July 2015

Hi all, spent a few hours at Coningsby yesterday to catch the Indian Air Force detachment and some Typhoons. Some photographs can been seen via the Flickr link below. They are not the best as my lens only goes to 300 which wasn't enough for the way they were taking off and landing yesterday. https:/...

Re: Notam 23/07/15

On arriving at Fairford, I just missed U-2S 80-1066/- landing at 13:01. Whilst they rigged up the wing support wheels at the far end of the runway for this most recent arrival , I looked towards the 2 purpose built B-2 hangars and I could see 80-1067/BB parked up in the left side of the left hand ha...

Latest info from Martin Simmons who left Fairford around 20 minutes ago. All 3 VH-60's and 4 MV-22's are sat outside. 163265 is apparently the VH-60 that was airlifted in today. Guess where I'm going right now!

This has now departed Brize Norton and is now heading Southeast towards
Brighton....I wonder if it has Danish Merlin M-517 onboard which was sighted
in a stripped down condition earlier on the ground at Brize today?
