Hi all, found an interesting angle on this B45 thread. If you look on YouTube , there's a video entitled RAF Sculthorpe, there is a still towards the end of the clip, clearly showing '56 on the dump!

Many thanks for info. I was told from another source that it was 47056, and I guess this fits in with your serial, since 1947 was the fiscal year they were ordered. I was told it was there in the 1970's or 1980's, but I thought that was unlikely, since most 47th BW B45's were phased out in 1958. Che...
